How to: Draw freeform and freehand drawings on an Excel worksheet or chart.
Solution:
Click 'Freeform' or 'Freehand' toolbar button from the 'Drawing' toolbar. Position the cursor where the freehand line is to begin. Press and hold down the mouse button and drag over the worksheet cells or chart. Double-click to stop drawing.
1) Display the 'Drawing' toolbar if it is not already displayed on the screen.
a) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Toolbars...'. (The Toolbar dialog box appears.)
b) Select the 'Drawing' check box.
c) Click 'OK'. (The Drawing toolbar appears.)
2) Click 'Freeform' or 'Freehand' toolbar button.

3) Press and hold down the mouse button and drag to draw lines.
NOTE: The cursor becomes a pencil while drawing lines. Press and hold down SHIFT while dragging the mouse to draw the 45 degree angle vertical or horizontal side to a polygon.
4) Double-click and release the mouse button when the drawing is complete.
NOTE: The drawing can be altered after it has been drawn by choosing the 'Reshape' toolbar button from the 'Drawing' toolbar.
